Me Evelyne Dumas

Lawyer

Evelyne is interested in health law and, particularly, issues related to consent to care and medical liability, the right to housing, and human rights in general.  

Through her involvement with advocacy organizations, she developed a keen awareness of the various issues she encounters in her practice, as well as a determination to advocate for the victims of abuse.  

 

Evelyne holds a Bachelor’s degree in international relations and international law as well as a Bachelor of Laws from Université du Québec à Montréal. Prior to joining Lapointe Légal, she completed her articling at the Human Rights Tribunal with the Honourable Madeleine Aubé. She is currently a candidate for a postgraduate degree in health law and policy at Université de Sherbrooke.
